What a tree shear?
A Tree Shear is a hydraulic attachment meant for cutting trees like a guillotine. They are mainly used for tree removal where the other alternative methods include manual work with a chainsaw or a brush cutter, or machines equipped with a grapple saw or mulcher.
Compared to manual work, a tree shear can be a lot safer, faster and often a more cost-efficient alternative. Compared to a grapple saw, a tree shear is much more affordable to acquire and simple to use, as well as much easier to maintain. If working directly with a mulcher, the scrap material can't be re-used commercially and the mulched material itself can increase forest fire risks in drier conditions.
It allows “scissor”-like cutting, that provides much cleaner cutting results for small shrubs instead of twisting and ripping them from the ground with roots.
